Better JSON formatting with Japplis Toolbox 5.1

Japplis Toolbox 5.1 has been released.

Japplis Toolbox is a free desktop software (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux) with more than 50 text utilities.

What’s new:

  • Better JSON formatter (faster, can handle more text, better formatting)
  • New utility: sort by regular expression
    • In case you don’t want to sort by the start of a line, you can specify a regular expression group and it will sort the lines by it
  • When Live is selected, operation is executed on every valid change of the pattern
  • Improved showing Swing properties: border UI applied to view, input keys and actions shown for InputMap UI
  • Loading and saving files use UTF-8 encoding
  • Various bug fixes and small improvements

Japplis Toolbox Pro 5.1 has also been released.

  • Added option in settings to unpack gz files

Japplis Toolbox 5.0 released – Free Text Utilities

More than 50 text tools in one free software, Japplis Toolbox 5.0 has been released.
All text processing is done on the local computer to avoid leaking company data.

Here are the tools:

  • Encoding / Decoding: URL, Base64, XML, Query parameters, Hex, Hexadecimal numbers, Binary numbers, ROT13, ROT47, Unicode, Morse, Cyrillic, Volapuk

There are more than 50 changes in this release: window always on top, translucent window, new About dialog with more info, new settings dialog, multiple skins including a few dark themes, replace operation in pattern and Cyrillic to Romanian encoding decoding.

I’ve just released JLearnIt 6.0.

JLearnIt is a thematic multilingual dictionary that helps you learn vocabulary.

Japplis Dictaphone released

I’ve just released Japplis Dictaphone.
Japplis Dictaphone is an online voice recorder.

Japplis Dictaphone can also read previous audio files recorded. The toolbar with record/stop/play can be dragged out of the browser for easier use.
Recorded messages can be saved as WAV files on the local hard disk and loaded/played later (no audio data is sent to the server).

Japplis Pastel 1.0 Released – Online Photo Effects

I’ve just released Japplis Pastel 1.0.
Japplis Pastel is a free online photo editor with a different approach than the standard one.
In standard photo editor, users need to know which effect they want to apply to a photo.
With Japplis Pastel, users can see their photos with more than 80 differents effects. They then just need to select the ones they prefer and save them.
Most of the time this results in choosing effects different than the users had in mind or saving the photo with different effects.

Japplis Pastel Beta Released

Today I’ve released the beta version of Japplis Pastel.
Japplis Pastel is a new application that applies different effects to your images.
The application is done for people who don’t know which effect looks the best on their photos.
As Japplis Pastel will show you a preview of your photo with different effects, you just need to select the ones you prefer and save/copy/drag them.

Japplis Pastel runs online for free at https://pastel.japplis.com
As for Decoration, no account is needed and the photos are not uploaded to a server (unlike most of online photo editors).
